this is a fore post to what I will try to help all of you out with later.

I just bought some oem size brake rotor for a really really good price and once i fugure out that they are good ill let you guys know where to get them.

there has been a small mistake. the rotors i ordered were slotted only but when the showed up at my door they were slotted and drilled.

i was originally thinking of getting drilled but when i was reading up on this i found that drilled rotors can crack easier due to heat expansion then contraction near the drill holes. so i decided to get slotted only.

i want your opinion and experience. have any of you had any problems with drilled rotors, or heard of anyone who has? i am debating keeping these instead of returning them.

You should search in the brake section.

The quick answer is that the drilled rotors are for show, slotted or blanks are for go. It seems from my reaserch that drilled rotors perform just fine for street use. If you plan on tracking the car you might want to stick with stock or slotted style rotors.

Drilled rotors will be fine for street driving. They will wear out a little sooner than solid blanks.

The track (not auto-x) is a different story and you WILL crack them in an event or two.
