Questions regarding replacing interior from tan leather to black cloth

how much should i expect to pay to get black cloth interior thru a junk yard or someone selling it?

How much work should be involved?

To tell you the truth, I would just get a set of aftermarket covers from leatherseats.com Do a search in the group buy section. You don't have to get leather but can get their suede version that is like the black stock suede. I think I have even seen a full cloth version.

It's easy to do but labor intensive. You will need hog rings and hog ring pliers. If you do purchase the covers you can DIY or send it to an upholstery shop. While you have the seat apart I would also purchase a new drivers cushion as ours tend to sag after this many years.

Finally, since you have tan seats, you can reuse the seatbelt holders but no matter how much you paint them they can still show up tan. Do a search for my name and seat belt holders in the interior exterior subforum. I think I also posted a link on it in the leatherseats group buy thread.

Good luck!

just keep the tan leather... anything wrong with it? If there is, I would replace it with stock tan... gives it an upscale look
