How short is this 'short' distance? Just tell him to run the standard 1/4, as this would be 'fair' for the both of you. It's actually quite funny that's he's trying to sucker you into a race where he has the obvious advantage. What does he say to back out of running longer distances, without saying his car can't contend with the FD?

this is bs....the point of a race is to see which car is faster....race till whatever...one person will give up and admit defeat. this isn't a science!
