Question: Power Steering Reman units??
Where is a good place to get your power steering rack rebuilt like new or to purchase one, either reman or new?
Thanks, Matt

I know this is over 5 years old... but I'm seriously considering getting a remanned rack. My old one works fine, it's a rusty looking POS though. Got about 130k miles on it... I talked to the NAPA folks today, they can get one for about $300 with my (rusty) core. Anyone have experience with the NAPA reman racks? I am very pleased with the reman starter, water temp switch, and always available spark plugs (rotary plugs) from them I wonder who does the reman racks for them?

^ this is probably a safe bet, just call them and ask. That being said, if it is just displeasing to the eye, why not just remove, sand, primer, paint and reinstall? The seals really do not go bad unless you think it has been run dry or submerged in water.
Really, if you look up the "how to" on here on the manual conversion I am sure you could just rebuild it yourself with parts ordered from Ray at Malloy Mazda. There really is not much to the power steering rack and the most difficult part is the removal of the rack from the car.
