I never said the E11 junk couldn't handle OMP...the EK6 is what I was referring too....
...and at least I own a car that needs a good ECU...not like some Maroon Zenkei FC3S automatic tranny powered cars
BooYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BEATCH!
Damn, I find it a little scary that people don't know where redline is!
On a manual car, the redline is 8k rpm. There is a red dash at 7500, probably to warn you to shift.
There is no point in going past redline on a close to stock car. If you have a large streetport and/or large turbo (or you're INSANE), rev it up!

as long as it's tunned you'll be fine... just don't take it to the rev/fuel cut.. that = BAD
lol.. pull the engine apart and get a wire brush..
then over haul it...
If you start beating on it every now and then you might be able to blow some of it out, but don't do any really long or repeated railings as this can cause hot spots in engines with lots of carbon in them and this can cause predetonation killing the engine..

that sounds liek a lot of work
and the predetonation thingy sounds expensive

Just get on it every now and then... do a few good drag launches and run it threw 3rd gear ot 8 k or so...
and I actually have a Fuel cut eliminator here at my house if anyone needs it I might come off it..
