Question: How much would someone pay for an RX-7 with 70k miles on it?
wait so there were TWO rebuilts??? One at 70K and one 3K later? Or did you mean to say 70K on chassis, 3K on rebuilt motor? If the condition is good, no accidents, clean interior, engine rebuilt and install was done with good quality from a reputable shop, car tracks straight, paint good, 99 spec conversion looks good, I wouldn't be surprised if someone would pay 20K for the car

I'd say $16-$18k max for the car unless it has some more mods.

Do you need a lesson in basic economics?
There are tons of 93s out there and not alot of 94s and almost no 95s.

There are a number of small details on 94s (and a few more on a 95) that make them a little nicer. None of them make the engine last longer though.
Best shopping at this point is to buy the nicest car you can find regardless of the year.

I agree though that given the over-all age of the cars, go for the nicest. That's what I tried to do.
