Hey,

This might be a stupid question, but when replacing my FPD one of the hoses connecting to the top vacuum chamber cracked and broke at the nipple, can I replace this with just normal vacuum line? The reason I ask is because the line itself appears to be a rubber line that has a cloth shield on it, do I need to replace it with a similiar line with the cloth shield? What purpose does the shield even have?
