grounding/alternator question
my car is only puting out 13.1v and fluctuates at idle. My alternator was just
rebuilt. and cleaned all the grounds.when i turn off the car it spikes up to 14.5v
for a split second. when im at WOT my voltage drops to 12.3v. where are the
factory ground locations maybe i missed one. my battery was also relocated to
the trunk when i bought the car.

There are just three for the engine that you need to worry about. One is on the firewall on the passenger side just behind the UIM, one is on the driver's side fender just beneath the black fuse box, and a third is located on the driver's side of the engine block just above the oil pan lip.
I have also heard that the harness from the alternator to the battery can lose conductivity over time and cause operational problems. Some of the electrical guys on here can probably tell you how to test that or do a search.

Before I went on a wild goose chase I'd have the battery tested (assuming you KNOW the alternator is good).
With the engine running use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the alternator output and at the battery. If they're within a couple tenths of a volt your battery is getting everything the alternator is putting out.
