Question On Greddy SMIC installation.

Hi everyone.
I need some help with the installation of the Greddy SMIC.
I have done my reading and researching, but I don't find anything about this problem.
I have removed air filter box (Stock with even cheaper bastard intake mod), battery and battery tray (stock, stock).
I dropped the IC in but it looks like the little flange on the passenger side of the IC that has to be bolted down to the black metal bar that goes across the front won't hit the frame because both the air box bracket and the bracket that supports the coolant hose are sitting in its way. Can somebody shed some light on this?
Thank you,
Giovanni

Those brackets need to be removed. Just unbolt them.

Trout is correct. And FYI You can leave your stock battery tray in the car. No need to remove unless you want to.

Got it

Thank you Boys,
I appreciate your help.
Regarding the battery tray, I knew I could leave it in, but I decided to give myself some more space to work around the IC. Plus, I found that the white crap that forms on the bolts has rusted the black bar under the tray on the surface, so I am going to sand re-prime and repaint while I'm at it.

Now, does this mean that the little metal leaf that sort of supports the rad hose is gone after installation? Is it needed for anything?

Not really, the upper radiator hose will bump up against the lower IC pipe (hot side) but that is ok. The only thing which could go wrong is if the rad hos were to rub some of the belts, though I never had a problem with that during the 2 years I was using the GReddy SMIC.

Some more snags

Hi everyone.
I have removed the brackets that were in the way of the Greddy SMIC.
I have a problem with it still, as for the IC to fit, the hose coming from the turbos to the IC will be constantly rubbing against the rad hose. I believe that if I move the IC any further to the driver side, I won't be able to sit the battery tray back in...
The other thing I don't like is the fact that the support bracket for the rad hose is gone...
Can somebody give me some input on this?

Sorry, for some reason, my last post didn't show up on my computer, so I put it up again, but then it came out of nowhere.
So I edited the post duplicate
