Apparently a previous owner removed the AWS (accelerated warm-up system). There are other methods of hooking up the sensor, maybe just not as simple. A couple of options:

hmm thats odd because when i start the car up it definetly raises the rpms while warming up if i leave it in park. i really wanted to avoid tapping the thermostat if i could.

is there any way to put my car back to stock like so i could still go the TB route

Thumbs up

I did this to my car as well. It's actually the throttle body coolant delete. Instead of the hose routing to that nipple you circled, it bypasses the throttle body and connects below the throttle body where it would usually exit the tb. If you remove the TB, you'll see what I mean. The connection pipe is vertical just below the dead center of the TB.

Just plug the fitting into the hose just like you see in the picture. It's just a different connection point below the TB. No need to worry.

If the throttle body water supply has been removed, there is a water supply coming out of the rear housing on the passenger side under the inake mani. that runs to the water pump try to tap that one.
