Question can someone help.....

Ok so I just installed a used stock twin turbo in my FD because I couldn't stand not driving it....but during boost my oil pressure is raising to almost 120 on the tach and in third gear the car cuts out on me kinda like I hit the rev limiter ..... Can anyone tell me why its doing this and what I need to do to fix the problem... Thanx

Need more info.

What mods have you done to the car, what ECU are you running, what boost pressure are you hitting, etc..

The cutting out issue sounds suspiciously like you're hitting fuel cut. If you're on the stock ECU, the car will cut fuel if you overboost. Do you have a boost gauge? If yes, then what boost are you hitting in 3rd? If not, get one.

Hey prophet thanx you were right lol....actually the car is stock at the moment with just an apexi intake system... but the car had been sitting on almost an empty tank when I took it out the day before ... I put in a full tank and problem solved lol Drove all the way to Santa Cruz and back in it just for the hell of it hahahaha Thanx to both of you...
