Question Question on Blockoff Plates

I made all of the blockoff plates for my car and I was wondering what resistors I needed to put in the connectors so it won't throw a check engine code. The connectors I am refering to are the three sensors that are on the port air control (I think that is the big valve on the back of the manifold above the injector rail) , the air pump stuff runs through it. Any help would be appriciated.

They use a 330ohm 1/2 watt resistor.

What's the harm in just removing the solenoids and leaving it like that? Why go to the trouble to put in resistors? Will the car go into limp mode or something???

If the ECU does not see the impedance equivalent of the solenoid on the control lines it will trigger the check engine light and toggle an error code.
