The FD has been my dream car since I was 11 years old. The RE-Amemiya version was always my favorite car on Gran Turismo so as youtube started to get more popular I found Best Motoring videos and started to watch how the FD would decimate everything on the track, especially the the RE-Amemiya. Then after owning two FC's in high school I knew one day I just had to have an FD. Just recently I sold my e46 m3, and my childhood FC so I could finally own an FD. I hope I don't regret it but as of now I love every second that I'm in it. Believe it or not, my gf LOVES riding in the FD, she says its very comfortable and likes how the interior wraps around you. She did not like riding in the FC or e46 m3 as much.

I had a ride in one owned by one of my sisters exes years before I was old enough to drive, since then I'm hooked. If you look at other Japanese cars of the same age you will begin to notice that they show their age i for one look at Supras and to me they look old and worn down regardless of condition. The FD body has such beautiful lines and is timeless in appearance. I certainly would not recommend going rotary if there a no Rotary specialists nearby.

Ive wanted an FD since I was 9 playing Need for Speed underground and midnight club and seeing how the car looked and I like the sound of it at the time obviously having no clue of the rotary. My parents are a Nissan family rightfully so because they got their licenses around the time the s30 chassis were rolling off the assembly lines followed by the Z's until the z32. My dad gave me his g35 when I was in high school to drive until I left for college and I made sure I saved up all I could after continuously looking at how FDs were annihilating everything on hot version and gtchannel on youtube also hearing out the power to weight and how excellent the performance was and threads like this seeing how people were saying there was nothing like driving an FD. I finally found one to buy in august of last year and was beyond happy and understood where everyones statements were coming from. You feel like you're driving something far more expensive than an FD when you're on the road, you never see one and everyone looks at you confused upon what the hell it is and when it was produced and they're amazed to hear the car is older than me. Yes I had to go through a rebuild already but driving this car is truly an experience of its own and you have to drive one to understand.
