Question about Y-Pipe Mod

ok, someone mentioned this to me a couple days ago, and it sounded like it would work, but i had a few concerns, so i thought i would see if any of you guys have done it. I am buying an efini pipe (and this is the same with the stock one) and basically, the mod would involve blocking off the two outlets on the pipe that go to the resurc valves (either by welding them closed, or just a plug) and then it would allow you to run a aftermarket valve, off the intercooler pipe right before the elbow.

Do you guys see any reasons why this owuldnt work?

by the way, im still sequential and am not planning on changing or going single turbo any time soon.

If you are still running sequential you have to leave the CRV on. You "can" weld the primary BOV section and install an aftermarket in the IC pipes. However, if you don't have a FMIC it is a complete waste.

i do have an FMIC and greddy intake. Is it a problem leaving letting the CRV vent into the atmosphere, or do i have to have it going back to the intake?
