Question about the throttle position sensor

From reading on all the ways to check if your throttle position sensor is working correctly, it's asked to check the narrow band voltage, and full band voltage. If the voltages are not correct, then you can adjust it by loosening the screws holding it in place and pivoting it on the mount.

From what I've gathered, adjusting the TPS will adjust BOTH the narrow band and full band settings simultaneously.

My narrow band is completely in spec. However, my wife band is out of spec. It should read between 1 volt at closed and 4.6 at wife open. Instead, it reads 0 volts and close and .7 volts at wide open.

Since only 1 of the two bands is out of spec, can I assume the TPS has crapped out on me?

The cheapest one I've found online is about $255. Instead of buying a new TPS, I'd rather put that money into my LS1 swap funds. Let me know!

talk to Fritz Flynn or allrotor93 they are two people who would most likely have used ones for sale at a very reasonable price.
