The question is why would mine not be fireing? everything is hooked up a have a gold box and with that hooked up the seconds are not fireing and with it not hooked up they are not fireing. i am getting a code from the gold box 0004 which is "INVALID EEPROM CHECKSUM" what dose that mean? is my computer toast? it all of a sudden did this. i also did the non-seq while i was figureing this out and now i am throwing code 30, 33, 38, and 39. and i have the restiors in. any help would be great. or is this to confussing.

i was also thinking that the ecu is the only thing controls the injectors and there is power there and then the injectors are grounded thru the ecu. is there anyway of telling if the ecu is bad?

2 questions:

1. How do you know your secondary injectors are not firing when they are supposed to? Note: they aren't supposed to fire until you are in boost or over about 4000 RPM.

2. The gold box is obviously bad; does the problem go away when you remove it?
