Don't be an idiot. Nothing will have been decided until the car is running properly.

I think everyone here decided that you're wrong idiot. Like everyone has said, it's all in the exhaust.

This is so sad. . .If it weren't for the best information about our cars in the world, I would leave this site. It is fine to honestly disagree, even to honestly correct one another (I think that is called "learning"); but it is not okay to simply disrespect each other and clutter the site with garbage. Whether one has 1 post or 10,000 posts, there should be one warning (or not), then banishment for this behavior. Or maybe just allow it in the lounge or something.

We may be defining overboosting differently. I define overboosting as the car boosting higher than you want it to boost. If you want your car to boost @ 10 psi, and it boosts to 12, that is overboosting in my book.

In this case, the OP has removed restriction in the exhaust. He has a downpipe, high flow cat, and a RB catback. He wants to keep his boost @ 10 psi. There is no way that will happen with his current setup (running properly). Banzai has told him he will be ok. There is no way he will be at 10 psi (where he wants to be), so he wont be ok.

Look who is coming up with the BS excuses already. "We may be defining overboosting differently", talk about back-peddling.

You told him he was going to hit 15psi or more, read your posts. Now you have reduced that to anything over 10psi is overboosting, what a joke you are. The factory ECU can handle 12psi if it needs to. The car is not going to boost cut at 10.5 psi. So, yes as I said before he should be just fine.

In your arrogance you have overlooked that the airbox in use is as (or more) restrictive then stock. It is completely enclosed with only a 2.5" inlet from the IC duct. Couple that with the restrictive RB exhaust and I doubt he will even see 11psi.

Don't worry guys, I don't expect any apologies from this guy. He will have another excuse soon as to why he was right. Perhaps next there is something wrong with Eternal's car because the boost behaves properly. The turbos must be blown, because there is no way he is wrong.

With all due respect, Banzai works on many FD's & has prob seen just about all there is to see regarding the common problem of over boosting. I would be very surprised if any advice given was anything but accurate. If I was you, I would do myself a favour and stop posting in this thread. Its making you look like an ***....

I'm not backing away from anything I said earlier.

Funny that you should tell me to read my posts, maybe you should try reading them before commenting. I am a "Joke".......... Very intelligent arguement!!!

That's just plain wrong. The PFS intake flows far better than stock. Add that to the list of mistakes you have made in this thread.

You think his car is behaving properly? Better read again. Its funny that you should write up all this garbage, claiming some sort of juvenile victory when the car IS NOT RUNNING RIGHT!!! Very low secondary boost. READ IT. Once he gets all the issues solved, we will see what the boost is doing. Until then, everything in your last post is arrogant and presumptive .

You don't know anything about me, or my experience working on, or racing rotary powered vehicles. I'm not some stupid kid that doesn't know ****.

After giving it some thought, I have decided not to post again on this thread until Eternal Gamer gets his car running properly. Once that has been done, we will have our answers, and the conjecture will be unnecessary.

I haven't got a chance to test it yet but the turbo control solenoids are new, so if anything it's mechanical part I'm thinking. Any other suggestions before I start testing?

Ok I found out that after wot and shifting into the next gear I get lower boost even below 4500. I'll get like 5-6psi. If I lift off throttle for a bit and wot again I'll get the 10psi under 4500 again. I suspect some check valves are leaking, so I'm going to test them when I got time but in the meantime, I'm going to go ahead and replace them all. Hopefully this will fix my low secondary boost also.
