question about pressure plate to flywheel fitment.

i just bought a spec stage 3 clutch and a act prolight flywheel and i was wondering how far down on the flywheel dowl pins does the pressure plate need to fit.cause it just sits on top of the pins and only goes down just a littlle on them. thanks

Sometimes the paint on the pressure plate makes it really tight. You can use a hammer to smack it on all the way, or you can just tighten the pressure plate bolts slowly and go 3-4 rotations at a time. Just make sure the pressure plate is flush to the flywheel after using your torque wrench. Typical pressure plate torques are 17-20 ft/lbs

It needs to go all the way down to the base of the pins.
