Question about installing front anti-roll bar bushings

I am having some trouble installing front anti-roll bar bushings on my car. The bushings I have do not want to go around the 30mm bar. The internal diameter of these bushings seems to be 27mm or so. They definitely seem to be the correct bushings though - the package they came in contained the correct part number and "FD01" is inscribed on the bushings, and none of the rear FD bars is as big as 27mm.

Do I just have to force them? I have installed anti-roll bushings on other cars and they never required any forcing at all. They usually fit exactly around the bar.

Stock bar and stock bushings?

What is your setup?

Should have clarified - stock bars and stock Mazda bushing.

I guess people do not need to replace these a lot. Mine were shot because they were installed incorrectly the last time.

Stock Mazda bushings should fit the stock Mazda bar without "crushing" the bushing. It should be a net fit or something very close to it.

That is the experience I have had with pretty much all bushings that I have installed.

The internal dimensions of the bushings are 28mm. I did some looking around and 1986-1992 RX-7s had 28mm front bushings as far as I can tell. So for a second I thought that the wrong bushings had been sent. However, 'FD01' is inscribed on the bushings so this does not seem likely. I wonder if FD3s had 28mm bars somewhere else in the world.

I used the bushings from Summit Racing. Got the part number off of Robinette's site

all stock front bars are 28.6mm, and thinly painted. 30mm is not stock.

Here's the page, go to page 10. I'm looking to buy a set for my HKS bar which looks like the same diameter as stock.

Which explains a lot. For some reason, I had 30mm in my mind.

Strange thing is I measured the front bar at 30.5mm (1.2") and the rear at 20mm (0.78"), which is confusing the hell out of me. I can't find any aftermarket bars with these dimensions. The bushings on the bars are rubber too and the bars are black and look like stock bars.

Anybody have any idea who could have made these bars?

Thanks for all the earlier responses. I discovered that Tanabe make a 30.4mm front and 20mm rear bar for RX-7s, which are painted black. Clearly this must be what I have. Until this weekend, I thought my car was completely stock. Also found it had a set of stainless steel brake lines, which is nice.
