Question about ecu's

Okay, say that you purchase an ecu with exhaust,IC,MP,DP, Intake and you have like intake and exhaust for the time being would it screw nething up? or do you have to have the mods its tuned for. Or can you have some of the mods and some other mods?
Thanks

It'd be a bit rich, but not terrible.

Dont forget about a fuel pump and bigger fuel injectors

with a midpipe you need an ECU, and with more than 3 basic mods (ie. intake, catback, DP) you will need an ECU also
