question about downpipe

Ive heard that after installing a downpipe the acceleration detoriates till 2000 rpm but improves a lot after that. If this is true then does this mean that downpipe will make my car slower in 0-60?

Good god, get a downpipe! There's no real power below 2000 rpm anyway, and when that second turbo kicks in with a DP... Honestly, best mod I did.
