Question about the belts.
Wheres the tensioner located for loosening the belt to the AC compresser+power steering.. Im getting rid of my air pump since Im going non seq and need to get the old belt off...
Does anyone know how many inches shorter the belt used for running just the alternator is??? Anyone thats removed their airpump should know..
I gota get a new belt so if somone knew it'd save me alot of time...
But again, getting back on topic, i cant locate the tensioner for the AC compresser + power steering.
Thanks

The tensioner is located to the immediate left of the power steering pump on the power steering/ac mounting bracket. It is part of the tensioner pulley assembly.
Also, a word of advice, you should not remove your air pump unless you have removed your catalitic converters and gone to a midpipe/down pipe set up on your exaust.
Do a search on belts.
