question about 3k rpm hesitation

if an rx7 has it does it only happen when the car is cold and hasn't warmed up? will it go away once the car has warmed up? im asking because im talking to a person about buying his 7 and he says it only hesitates when the car is cold and hasn't warmed up.

The 3000 RPM hesitation is VERY common, and is usually worse when the car is cold - that's totally "normal". There are some fixes (like adding ground wires) that can minimize or eliminate the problem.
