ques. about rebuild turn around times.

I have my motor rebuilt and ready to drop in, and my concern is that if the motor sits for too long before getting oil through it, or if it just doesnt run in general and just collects dust, will there be side affects??? side affects meaning, bad for NE of the seals?

its been about three weeks, and the guy who is supposed to do my install is laggin'. how long is it before its "too late"?

You should hand turn the crank once in a while(once or twice a month)...according to Pineapple

If you used plenty of assembly lube on the internals and keep the motor sealed up and in a dry place, it should be fine. I agree - I would hand-turn the motor over a few times every now and again to exercise the seals and springs.
