QUALITY performance builds
This is a cross post but I feel it is relevant to the third gen guys due to the complexity of our cars and the internal parts used in the REW engine. I like many, have beat my head against the wall on occasion, spent too much money on poor rebuilds, and generally had a crappy time at things.
I have learned my lesson. Do things right the first time and get them done by professionals. I am not talking about small stuff, but the major endeavors like having an engine rebuilt. I have dealt with plenty of rotary shops and while most are competent, I feel they really lack the knowledge and experience to build an absolutely solid motor, second to none. I, like most of you, love to DIY (do it yourself). Love to get the fingernails dirty on occasion. But there is always a price and with the rotary engine, it is more often than not in real dollars. There are very few of us with true, disposable income. Anyway, here is a link to the post:

I hope it helps someone to make a better choice in the future. I am just very, very happy with my decision and the results! We need more people like CLR in our industry.
