Q's about 02 bung on Downpipe.

Im getting a down pipe next week. Im going to drop it off to have an 02 bung welded on it so I can hook it up to my friends Wideband 02 sensor. But where is the best place to have the bung welded onto the DP? And can I do this on a Stainless steal DP? I have intake and exhaust and hopefully the DP wont put my A/F ratio too lean at WOT before I get a PFC later this year.

I have a wideband bung, right where it starts to curve towards the cat.

Any reasons for your bung positioning?
I was thinking towards the middle away from a bend (of course)
thanks for the insight.
What mods do you guys have?

I think you want it as close to the cat. as possible. I believe Wade told be that.

Mods- Pulleys, cold air intake, DP, cat back, PFS PMS.

Put it at the very end of the downpipe, a few inches away from the cat (or midpipe) so the exhaust is a little cooler to extend the life of the sensor.
