put the clutch back in now the reverse light is on
it's always something. why does the light stay on even though the car is not in reverse. did i reconnect the reverse light incorrectly on the transmission connectors? i might just take the bulbs out b/c i don't want to put the car back on jacks. i want to drive it for a while. i got the spec stage iv clutch. it has a real soft feel to it. the only thing i don't like is that it catches way down low. i m sure i can adjust the pedal height to fix it though. kvn

i had this problem after a clutch job as well, my reverse lights wouldnt go off, it ended up being a transmission connector that SHOULDNT have been connected, in fact, these two connectors didnt go to anything! they just hang there unconnected. You'll have to get under there with the ignition on ( pit) and disconnect everything until the reverse lights go out.
