Pulsing Idle when lights are on, then turned off

Hey guys, In the last month i just brought the car out from hibernation. It runs very well, just needs a tune(which kan is coming to do late may). But just last week the car started this weird pulsing idle.

It happens usually (not always) when i have my markers/Lights on. And turn them off. Then it Idles 1100 to 800 and back. Over and over. Sometimes driving for a while, it will stop. It has also happened once or twice when the lights are on, and just at a stop light. But after a bit of driving, then it will stop.

I have the Double Throttle removed, and the engine is brand new (maybe 6k km). Sounds like a Vac leak maybe. But then it also sounds electrical. The battery is brand new 5 months ago.

Help!

Does it only happen when you first start to drive it? If so, your battery may have a low charge. Hense, the problem when lights are on causing more drain. Get a charger and charge it. I may be new, but if you had it in storage than it lost it's charged. You would be surprised how fast a battery can lose charge.

No it can be when ever. And it happens when the lights are on, But then turned off. Its starts once they are Turned off. But today it was just happening when the lights were on too. then would stop. I think its a vac leak, im going to check it out today after work.

mine does this occasionally also. do you have a PFC? I think it may have something to do with that

mine did this just the other day after I messed with my TPS and idle controls. You probably need to adjust the air bleed screw under the TB elbow. Search for I believe Damian's thread on fixing his idle. It can be frustrating but I fixed mine the other day by messing with it a few times. My idle was constantly 800-1200 and would change with different lights on. Now it's pretty rock solid

I'm on stock ECU with no Double throttle, no aws, no airpump, no acv, no fast idle, ect

Yea i Bled the Idle screw a bit to bring down my idle. And now its fine. i think it was the PFC over compensating for the big difference between the load on the engine. And it hunted for a proper idle.

All fixed now, just lessened my Idle RPM.
