what you are loosing i going to move.
water pump can be held still by sticking a screwdriver inbetween 2 bolts while crackng the others loose. do not take them out completely as they will be needed to use for your screwdriver as you rotate and crack the other loose.
the alt...i have only done with an impact gun...

or you can maybe jam a 2x4 or similar between the eccentric pulley and the frame.. that's how I used to get the crank pulley off my 240sx... just put TONS pf pressure on the side of the pulley... oh yeah

Put the car into 5th gear (or park on an auto), with the e-brake on, and the rear wheels on the ground. that'll give some resistance by way of driveline, but beware, the driveline still has play in it. usually too much to overcome just by placing the trans. in gear, but it helps a little.

What are the details of your pulley kit? What pulleys and which brand make a big difference in the installation details.

lol...30 minutes with a smoke break. It's easier once you've got a front mount that's for sure.
