Opinions on a car

This car looks like a good one, but I emailed the guy and the ECU is still factory.....Too many mods for that, am I right?

"The exhaust system was replaced with a Stainless Steel Catback system and exhaust pipe"

I'd wonder what he meant by "exhaust pipe" and wonder if he means "mid-pipe". If it doesn't have a mid pipe than the only mods I spot are a intake, downpipe, catback, intercooler..

Other than that it looks good to me. I don't what some people would say about having an upgraded intercooler(like if the more airflow is unsafe?) on a stock ecu though. To me it's fine, but everyone has their own opinion.

only mods are downpipe, cat-back, and K&N dropin filters...tuning would be nice, but not necessary, if you're a worrier...just get a profec-b boost controller. Looks great though

Like black 99 says, this car also has an intercooler (what the owner called an aftercooler in his ad) and what looks like a Pettit Racing intake, not a drop in K&N filter.

Lotan is right that some form of boost control is needed for that many mods. I'd be willing to bet that if PFS did the motor and those mods at the same time they changed the pills in the 2 relevant turbo control lines to keep boost down to something like 10-11psi. If that was done, there is likely not an issue with running lean. However, adding a fuel computer and turning up the boost will make that car much faster... ask me how I know

Ask the guy what his boost pattern is - or even better go for a test drive and see for yourself (assuming you are nearby).
