Pulling injector diffusers out

Is there a trick to getting the diffusers out of the middle iron? I'v picked at them with a dental pick trying to get them to move and nothing seems to budge.

I'm in the middle/tail end of bolting everything back together and snapped one of the diffusers somehow? Anyways, figured I'd replace them as that hard plastic breaking off and going in can not be good for the seals.

Thoughts or someone else that's pulled them out have any pointers?

Thanks!

Ian

Have you tried sticking your fingers into the intake ports and pressing them up from the bottom?

You have to rotate them to remove them.

What primary injectors are you running?

Running stock for now, unless I find a sweet deal in the next week or so.

For the primary, you have to remove the LIM and pop them up from underneath, secondary you can pull them out with plier.

I used the pliers on my pocket knife they are just the right size, and yes you have to twist.
mrparts.com.au is killing it ATM Bosch injectors and aftermarket fuel rails

You definitely do not need to remove the LIM to change the diffusers.

I didn't have any luck removing my old one, they started to crack as soon as I try to pull them up with a pick. It'll be good to know how to get them without pulling the UIM tho, since I have plan to go with FFE primary down the road.
