Pulley install

I just purchased a used set of Greddy pulleys (Alternator and water pump). Can anyone tell me what I need to take off the stock ones and install the new ones? Rob Robinette's site said it needs an impact wrench (which i don't have). Any advice guys?

I love this forum!

Take a phillips screwdriver and stick it through the hole at the top of the alternator. Not the slots, there is a hole at the top. That will hold the alternator while you take the nut off.

For the water pump, use a box wrench on one bolt and a socket wrench on the other. You will be able to get three bolts off, then take a allen wrench (shaped like an "L") and stick it through one of the holes from the removed bolts. You can turn the pulley until the allen wrench catche on the water pump behind the pulley. You should now be able to remove the last bolt. Use the same procedure to install. The last bolt you put in you will only be able to tighten it as tight as you can hold the pulley while turning the wrench. That should do it!!!!
