Not to hijack this thread or anything... but was kind of curious, should I remove engine and transmission together or separate. Here's the twist though I want to take the transmission out anyways because I'm getting rid of the A/T for a M/T. The engine with A/T that's in the car is also blown. But I bought a short block with a M/T that I've been doing reliability mods to that I'm swapping it out with.

if you're taking them both out anyways, take them out at the same time. c'mon jon, you know you could've just asked Jim or myself. This was also discussed earlier in the thread.

eh, I figured I might get some insight from other people who have done the swap before or who knew the A/T transmission better. seeing as you and Jim have only done M/T.
