Fuel Rail broke....

So, um, yeah, Is there anything I can do about that? It broke right at the footings for it while I was trying to put it in. Should I try to fix it or just say screw it and get a aftermarket one?

I have no mods other than a DP. Any sugestions?

well i don't know you might be able to. i'm new but when it comes to fuel and it been delivered to the engine better fix it right. I would go aftermarket becuase if you intend on moding even more you will end up spending the money anyway. and when you half *** these cars otherthings brake.

well the only problem i have with going aftermarket is that i dont have any kind of fuel management so if i had some 1600cc injectors, i would be kinda ******* myself a second time.

Another question then - If i got the rails that take 1600cc injectors, could i put smaller injectors into it or just 1600cc?

i don't really know. But i would say you couldn't because 1600cc injectures are all around bigger and the slot(I don't know the techincal name for it) is bigger too. I would try to find a fuel rail that can support the stock injectures. or if you do have to go with 1600cc injectors you maybe could get a mapped ecu to hold you over till you can get something better. but my know of the 7 is small so if anyone thinks i made a mistake anywhere please let me know

what do you mean you broke the fuel rail? the injectors or the aluminium support?

if it's the support, i have one for sale.

at your stage just buy a used stock one.... dont pay much more than $20-$30 for it w/ no injectors.
