Proper Red Line trans & diff oil's
so what weights do people use for the transmission and diff? ive been using red line oils for a long time now, but they tend to perform slightly differently than the generic oils... so i thought id see what everyone recomends (if different than the what the FSM says). thanks, heath

ok ive done some more reading through old posts.... LOTS of interesting, yet conflicting information.
from what i can gather the best oil for the diff. is the 75W90 for better lockup? (not 75W90NS)... as for the trans some say MTL is too thin and to use MT-90... others say its way to notchy when, and hard to shift when cold (somehting i have noticed in my miata with RL fluid in the trans... has to be pretty cold out though). some people say that redline fluids are pure crap, and to use royal purple or the like.
(sorry for bringing this topic back up but im still confused as to the pros and cons of the various types, so i wanted everyones input)
