Projector headlight housings (for normal headlighs)

Hi
I am researching my options on headlight conversions. And aftear looking at countless pictures, read threads and searched, i am left with a litte question.

- Are there any projector headlight housings for sale that fit the OEM lights?

I know Sakebomb Garage sells the awesome Bi-Xenon kits, and i have decided i want to go down that road, with OEM functionallity. But are the headlight housings they use possible to source elsewhere? The setup they are using are in most cases perfect, but i would love to do some cusom choises in tersm of projector type, bulbs, and ballasts.

I have searched, but i could not find.

You can find the clear lens headlight online, either eBay or other online store.

With the exception of the clear lens, SakeBomb sources their components from the retrofitsource.com. Here is a link:

The Retrofit Source | Innovative Headlight Upgrades

Look under "Mazda RX7". They use stock headlight housings, the FX-R(replica) bi-xenon Projectors and E55-R(replica) Shrouds. You could put it together by yourself but there is some labor involved in getting it right.

In the past, TurboIIrotary offered a HID conversion:

And if you want the RE sleepy eye look:

Superdan50 has been sidetracked by 2 premie babies but he is back on the project.

Yeah, i want to get some OEM stuff from TRS, like Denso ballasts and such, and do the labor and stuff myself, since i enjoy that. I just need to find a headlight housing that fits the FD, and that has place for a projector inside.

I tried Ebay, but i could not find anything that looked usable...

I believe they use these ones in many setups.

Aha, so then the rest of the work is a full custom retrofit? They start with one of those, then add projector and shroudns themselves? Great, then i know where to start atleast!

Exactly what I'm doing as well, I like to stick with OEM ballast and projector, plus you can pick the projector of your liking and do clear lens and color mod.

Rx350 projectors are the best still saving up my pennies for a set.
