Profec B spec 2 problems
Anyone know why my vacuum reading on my boost controller is reading higher than my PFC and what im seeing on my boost gauge?
Also it seems that i cant get my boost to stay consistent. It goes up to about 11psi and than falls to 7 and than back up to 11 and over and over again. Ive tried messing with the gain turning it up or down, and also changing the set boost to a little higher.
Setting are: 10%
35% gain
140 set gain
150 warning
Decrease is at 99% (even if set to 4% it still goes up and down)
Im not sure if it is reading higher boost and going back down to 7 and going back up.
I have to bost controller going to my fpr. and the solenoid going to my turbo and wastegate. Do i need to run another line from the solenoid at all?
thanks for the help guys

Is this a new unit? The old ones were defective and required you to switch modes hi/low/hi after turning the controller on or the limiter would cut in at a much lower psi than actually specified. It only happens in PSI mode, so you might want to try switching to BAR and seeing if that fixes the problem.
Also, your settings dont look right. Try using the "set" setting (just turn the ****, no buttons) to adjust your boost level. 34% seems to be a good starting point.
Next adjust the "gain" as low as possible at 1st. Only add some "gain" if you have too much boost drop at high rpm. Too much gain causes a problem similar to what you're having.
"Set Gain" adjusts (in psi) at what psi the controller starts working... set low (5psi or so) at 1st and slowly dial in more. Too much will cause boost spike when 1st getting on the throttle.
Set the warning (in psi) at your max safe boost or a little below to cut back boost if you hit that psi.
