Profec B - How could this be wrong?

I have read many posts/ instructions regarding the profec B setup... Most say to tap ONLY into the wastegate actuator and this is what I have done for the past 2.5 years. However, I have never been happy with the performance (low power in low gears and very sensitive to weather changes/ boost creep). Yesterday, I did what many say you should never do and tapped both the PCA and wastegate actuator to the profec via a T fitting and the difference is amazing. Boost on both turbos is quick, predictable and dead nuts in every gear - it's awesome. I expected a pretty harsh transition (t-ing the PCA presumably eliminates the prespool), but even that isn't too bad. How could this be bad?

OK... here's a diagram of the install (at least my interpretation). Hope this helps.

That's exactly what I am trying to find out... but i can't see why it would be catastrophic. It is so much better I think I would stick with it even if it shortens the life of my turbos.

Replumbed Profec-B

I have the Apexi AVCR and can tell you this is the way it is supposed to be on my unit. I read some where that tis would be something to try on the Profec-B, just that no one has tried it till now. Looks like it works well (as it was thought it might) Jack
