problems w/ throttle body. need help
i took my motor apart and powder coated it a few months ago and today tryed to start it.. so it started but idled high and low the whole time it was running. like it would during a cold start. im guessing its something with the throttle body.. the motor has 10k on a new rebuild so its nothing internally.. it also ran fine before i powder coated everything..
so i realized there were some settings on the TB and i did my best to put them back.. if i give it some gas while idling it doesnt do anything and almost wants to die out.. anyone have any idea what this could be?

Follow the procedures from the FSM. The TPS is on the firewall side of the throttlebody. It's a plastic housed sensor with 2 screws, one on top & bottom. When loosening the screws, you can rotate for adjustment. The thing is VERY touchy. Simply lining up the marks could make it off a good bit.
If you have a Power FC, you can monitor the voltage using the monitor setting. Otherwise, you will need to use a volt meter on the service plug.

The FSM is a Factory Service Manual...
Go the the FAQ thread at the top of the 3rd Gen section, it's a sticky thread. There will be a link to download a PDF version.
Follow the link I posted also. It will show you the voltage & procedures per Damian.. The FSM can be a little hard to follow sometimes.
And no worries man, that is what makes us a community
