Problems with the Gotham Engine Torque Brace...
Well, with all the things that people have been saying about the engine torque braces being awesome, I would have to disagree. I thought my differential brace made much more of a difference in actual "stiffness" of the driveline.
Anyways, I don't know if it's just my car, but there was a SMALL weld (the one closest to the firewall) where the bolt would thread into, it's really small, but just small enough to cause it to not allow a bolt to thread into. So, only 2/3 of the bolts are in. Also, I am not getting a lot of vibration at idle, causing my main cat to rattle a bit.
I really can't compare the two fairly, though, as I already had the differential brace in before I put the ETB in. Has anyone had a similar experience with the shock-type ETBs?

I had the first ETB from Gotham. I have the same problem of the weld covering one of the holes - i just left it, no problems yet. I don't have the diff brace, and my ETB made a night and day difference to me.

I don't have the gotham TB, but I do have a solid ETB and a kgparts diff brace. I put the ETB on first and the difference was VERY noticable... once the diff brace was on, the whole car felt amazing. I doubt you'll notice much of a difference with a shock type brace if you already had a diff brace, though...
