Problems getting boost

I just did the vacuum hose job and now I can't get any boost. What could be the problem? When I step on the gas, under load I get hesitations and back firing. I checked the hoses all over again and everything seems fine. What could I have messed up on to cause this?

Sounds more like an ignition problem. Did you forget to hook up your leading coils, or did you pop off the plug wires? Did you put a check valve on the Map sensor? It's a paper filer not a check valve, so make sure you are good there.
