Problems engaging gears

I have had problems in the past engaging gears when going full throttle, mostly 3rd and 4th, but also in other gears. It feels like the shifter is not pushing in the right spot and therefore the gear doesn't pop in. So for example, when I go full throttle in 2nd gear, push the clutch at 7000rpm and try to push the leaver forward its like blocked and I have to fiddle a little bit left and right to get 3rd in.

Till yesterday I thought the OEM shifter just is old and wobbly, but when I removed the trim I found this:

So its allready an aftermarket part and if I researched correctly, an RE Amemyia one.

So I assume the shifter is not the cause of the problem, could it be the gearbox itself? I don't know when the shifter was installed though, car has presumably 47000 miles on it, but I'm starting to doubt that figure.

Edit: Sorry Mods, I hit the wrong section, can you please move to technical? Thanks!

The FD guys only seem to like C's shifters. Besides that, I've only seen the OEM recommended.

If the shifter itself is really wobbly, your shifter bushings are probably broken, particularly the one that goes on the ball at the end of the shifter. If you're missing shifts at high RPM, you probably have a bad motor mount. When you let off the throttle at high RPM, the motor will be allowed to rock with the bad mount and it will shift the position of the trans on its axis and you won't find the slot. If you have a 93, I can guarantee your drivers side mount is busted. Try new motor mounts and/or the banzai transmission crossmember.

That was my guess too (bad motor mounts). I didn't had the problem when driving normally.

The shifter looks good to me, is there another bushing than the ring you see in the picture above?
