yeah they were....if engine is flooded does that mess it up?? im not sure with a rotary engine...

i need help to get this running any other help??

 

i think im going have new injectors,fuel pump, spark plugs, and i ordered a fully pulley set....im going have it towed to this other place around here, plus im going have them set my power fc so i can break in the engine...


People from michigan...Tuning factory must suck, they closed down a couple of days ago....and they still have my friends B16 they were building for his new civic project....very happy i didnt get in there last week.......

Anyway anything else i should go over and replace,i think the injectors are messed up, and the other stuff im getting for very cheap...

And anyone know where i can get a dip stick??? I cant find one anywhere...

 

If it started before I don't see why it wont start again, you can try changing your plugs if its flooded thats what I did same problem as you but my motor is blown. You should get a comp test done just to make sure your engine is fine...

 

yeah im pretty sure its my spark plugs. I know the engine was fine when i got it, and ive put not even 5 miles on it...and im taking about going around the block a couple times going no faster than 30mph .

Im going replace my spark plugs,injectors,dipstik and i just got a full pulley kit i bought, and im going just have it towed to this shop.

 

Do you think my engine is blowen??? Some1 please let me know. I very want to get my FD on the road. Before its starts to get closer to winter.

 

I wouldnt buy anything for it till you get a comp test... Take the car to a shop and let them take a look at it

 

ok, i had a problem somewhat like this. Let the car sit came back didn't turn on.
Changed the spark plugs, and it turned right on. its easy to do a compression test if it already doesn't turn on. go buy one its cheap and get your friend to help you. If you have modded fans if will cause your battery to die fast.

My car had a blown motor and was slow to take off once it got some speed then it went like yours. front housing and rotor was out, and shot fire out of the muff. because car was running on on rotor.

Check your MAP sensor too. Make sure it is hooked up and working properly. I know my car would not idle and hard to start if this sensor was not hooked up. I'd also bet the spark plugs should be replaced.

 

Just so I understand you unloaded it off the truck (you live a mile away) and your trying to boost it (without warming it up) within this mile to your house ?

The car warmed up, I never boosted, my rpms werent that high. Car warmed up and i drove around my house.

The car is on the way to Banzai, and the lady on the phone did know her stuff! lol, but ill know whatsup when the car gets there, and if he get the car running, I may buy some things and let him install, but even if engine is blowen I will be driving that car out of there, ill do whatever to get it running, no matter how much $
