Ok check this out...I just finally finished doing tons of work to the car when this new problem arrises. I have a lot of power now with intake, dp,mp,ct back, power fc, m2 med ic, and a bunch of other stuff....15 lbs of boost. car is dangerously fast now. ok so I put it in 4th gear step on the gas...car starts to take off, then at around 80 when second turbo comes on strong the car stops accellerating but the engine doesn't stop. rpm's keep going to redline but it feels like its not in gear anymore, but it is. 72 000 miles on car and I really don't know but I kinda suspect alll original tranny and clutch. Please tell me this is clutch and not tranny related. I have no problem getting into any gear. Also whats the deal with replacing the clutch? should I go back with stock clutch or do some kind of upgrade? $ is pretty tight right now. also how hard is it replacing clutch yourself? thanks

Sounds like your clutch is slipping @ high RPM. Sooner or later it will start slipping at a lower RPM too. Replace it soon with something that will easily handle high horsepower. My stock clutch lasted 60,000 miles. A good replacement is the street/strip ACT clutch, it will last a long long time.

Yeah that definetely sounds like the clutch is slipping.
If you have a lot of time on your hands, then go ahead and do the clutch. There are a ton of things you need to remove. The main cat, PPF, underbody pan, driveshaft, etc.
It's a big job, and if you have never done one before, it won't be a one day thing since you will be mostly be paying attention to what went where.
If money is tight, then drive it slow and don't powershift. Try to get a lightweight flywheel at the same time, because if you dont, you might kick your *** for not doing it in the long run. Besides, if your stock clutch has heat cracks on it, you WILL need to either recut it or replace it.

Widebody2, dont worry it's your clutch. I just had mine replaced 3 weeks ago after i put the same mods like you, it started slipping.
I like the Centerforce dual friction clutch/pressure plate its feels good and has 90% more clamping power than stock, make sure to resurface your flywheel it's also advised by Centerforce. It will take sometime to put a new clutch as you have to take lots of parts off. Good luck !
