prob with my pfc

i got my computer unit in last week but didnt get around to puting it in until today. thats when i nocticed a problem. them connections from the harness dont fit in the unit. anybody have a clue why they are like that. and the serial number says fd3s, it should be the right one.

You have to make sure you bought the one for 93-95 FD's. If you bought it off Ebay, there's a chance you bought the one for 98+ FD's.

It unfortunatley is the wrong version. Good luck selling it. I bet it was a "good deal"!!

Anyways, there is supposedly an adapter that you can buy....but it runs $220 or so...

I just happen to have my PFC box next to me. On the outside, it should say "FD3S I~III". If it says "FD3S IV", it's the j-spec model, and won't work.

anything after 96- from a JDM won't work.

That's an old serial number. I have the new serials, and I've got the superceeded set somewhere - but that one, afaik, goes beyond that.
