primary fuel defusers...?

hey guys im putting in the kg primary fuel kit (fuel rail, lines and 850cc injectors) and im undecided if i should remove the fuel defusers in the block... anyone done this? i did a quick search and didnt come up with anything. i know damian bored out the top piece to fit. i know that they are there to help the fuel spray evenly and properly. yet with new injectors there should be no real problem with the pattern so im just wondering who has done what here and how its working with them down the line. does the car run properly? any info would be appreciated! thanks guys

I cant tell you how well they work yet but i have the same parts. From what i can tell its not nessary to bore out the diverter becouse the injector clears just fine. I was told this mod had to be done on the old style inj. Im not running the lower half becouse on a boosted motor i dont think its needed. Also if you seal the spacer to the housing the oring seals very well. But you need to do it to suit yourself. Good luck Charlie!

i left them out and noticed no difference... WARNING!!!!!!!

be very careful if you remove them, one of them broke apart and went into my engine... that was the worst weekend of my life, thank got the rotor was covering the intake port and i could just pull it out... after removing the turbos and intake manifold
