Primary Boost: 5psi after shifting to 2nd, 10psi if already in 2nd
I finally got my primary turbo working fairly well. I get 10psi just about any time i'm supposed to, except for when I'm on it hard and shift to second and get back on it, then it climbs slowly to 5psi and stops there. If I'm in second, cruising along at say 25 mph or so, and put my foot to the floor, it goes straight to 10 psi.
When the secondary kicks in it always drops right to 6 psi, but that is my next battle.
The car is a '93 touring, stock except for a downpipe.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

No. I have taken the UIM off and checked everything but I haven't replaced the hoses yet. I will do that this summer when my wife gets a new car. Right now the 7 is my daily driver. I know I will need some down time to do the hose job.

Had the same problem until I replaced all the vacuum lines around the turbos, crv, y-pipe. Problem solved and never had to mess with the rats nest.
You might as well start eliminating what it could be.
