price check..

its so hard to get a good price for a 7. most of the experts on these cars seem to be on this site. what do you think is a practical price for this car?
Hey guys --
I have a 1994 silver rx-7 twin turbo with 127,xxx miles that is in mint condition -- I have many people that can vouch that. I am the third owner, the owners before me had the car in stock form. I am selling this one of a kind beauty, because I have a baby son, need something with more room.

The car has always been babied and rarely launched. The motor was rebuit by Rick at Rick's Rotary (Pleasanton, Ca)-- if you know anything about rotaries, then you know Rick is the best in the west coast. $10,562 was invested in the motor (mods are listed below). Motor was done about 4 months/6000 miles ago. It performs like no words can describe, and realiability is not a concern anymore. All invoices are kept. Also, the tags are just paid for, and just smogged.

MODS:
freshly built motor
3mm apex seals
upgrade coolant seal
street port
1300 injecotrs
upgrade fuel pump
power fc with controller and street tune
greddy smic
greddy elbow
greddy turbo timer
greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller
act street strip clutch
all the vacum hoses were replaced
all coolant hoses were replaced
all fuel lines were replaced
koyo radiator
boost guage
water temp guage
aluminum ast
ngk spark plug wires
hks downpipe
mid pipe
apexi n1 cat-back
rx7 store main pulley
apexi dual intake
hks bov
eibach pro kit springs
and more stuff that I can't think of right now...

he might be on this site. hes asking 18g. where do you put it? opinions thanks in advance

Here's the thing though; if the seller think's it's worth 18k, then that's what he wants regardless of what anyone else thinks.

What you need to decide is how much are you willing to spend on an RX-7. Once you have that number, find the car that suits you for the money.

Price is way too high with those miles. Here is one with in the same area with 50k fewer miles and a new engine for $17k:

If you have $17k or so to spend, there is no reason to buy a high mileage car.

car prices in california suck.

ur car is probably worth 11k from the blue book.

i would ask for 15+ if car has a new motor and i was selling even up to 17 seems fair if i was selling. 18k with those list of mods seems reasonable coming from an rx7 owner, but maybe not from normal people.

it really sucks cause rx7 owners expect like pretty much all their money back from mods.. but im considering afk limitz car.. very nice. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=465301 but he is like asking double the kbb value. is that normal?

Forget KBB. It's only useful when the seller doesn't have any idea what to price it at.

it doesn't sound too bad. at least the motor was done by a really good shop (that means a lot) and he did a lot of the small but important things like coolant hoses and such. find out more about who did the tuning and go take a look. check out a few others for comparison.

basically Mahjik hit it on the head regarding price.

With those mods and perfect inside and out I would say 14K.
