Anybody have pictures on how to remove the pressure plate from the tranny? I have the square access panel more on the passenger side of the tranny removed, and im still not seeing what i need to remove.. clip, etc?

remove the access window on bottom. there are (i think its 6) 14mm bolts to take off. you must rotate the flywheel/PP with a breaker bar and do one at a time. i hate to say it, but search. i dont feel like typing it up AGAIN as i am sure other people dont either.

 

That is the easiest way, or you can stick your hand in throught the top left service hole and pull back on the clutch fork and then take a big *** screwdriver and pop the PP and TOB apart through the bottom service hole, I warn you though that it is a bitch to do.

 

you can go to mazda and have the service writers print oyu up pages from the service manual.
