Pressure plate question!! Can you recrimp the center ring?

The center of my ACT pressure plate has a Ring that goes into the center of the pressure plate. It attaches to the throwout bearing...

The ring is not catching the bearing anymore (slipping out) and needs to be recrimped.

Is there a tool that I can get to recrimp this ring??

If so, can someone point me in the right direction?!?!

No, just buy a new one. I did that and it lasted for about 15 miles before it stranded me.

Yeah, it is a separate part - you don't need a whole new pressure plate.

unfortunately it will never go back to being perfect...once that metal fatigues...it will never be the same because it will never fully disengage/engage correct within tolerances again...

Anyone know the part number by chance? Lol

Also, would that require a special tool to replace?

Wire ring: N315-16-416
Wedge Collar: N315-16-415.

I find it hard to believe the wedge collar is not also damaged. That's the one that's easier to bend.

Once you get the new ones snapped in nice and secure you'll be thankful you didn't try to re-use the old ones.
